Eid al-Fitr Celebration at the Islamic Museum of Australia
Saturday 28 March | 11am - 2pm
Join us as we come together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with a joyful Family Fun Day at the Museum, a day filled with connection, creativity, and community spirit after the blessed month of Ramadan.
Families and visitors from across the community are invited to enjoy a relaxed, festive atmosphere with activities for all ages, including:
- Sausage satay and sizzle
- Free face painting and henna
- Free live Arabic calligraphy
- Free bloom bar
- Free jumping castle for the kids
- Free open craft room for hands-on creativity
- Free kids self-guided Museum trail with lucky dip prize on completion
This special day is all about celebrating togetherness, culture, and the joy of Eid, creating beautiful memories for children, families, and the wider community in a welcoming and inclusive space.
Museum entry is free between 11am - 2pm. Registration not required.

In its ongoing commitment to combatting Islamophobia, the Islamic Museum of Australia champions an understanding and appreciation for Islamic art and culture. The Eid Family Funday is supported by the Victorian Government.
