IMA is proud of our rich legacy of hosting a variety of exciting, innovative and diverse school holiday workshops and events that cater to all tastes and ages! This school holiday period saw IMA welcome award winning author, master storyteller and artist
Mehded Maryam Sinclair for a sell out event titled ‘Reviving the Islamic Art of Storytelling’ that captivated our packed student audience with a narration of the beautiful story of Prophet Moses.
The museum was the epicentre of activity as children flocked with their parents to participate in this unique storytelling event, many staying to roam through our museum galleries and appreciate the rich and colourful artwork on display.
Thanks to the success of this event, Mehded will be returning on October 12
th at 6.30pm for ‘Malice in Wonderland’ that will offer a glimpse beneath the glitz of Ancient Egypt, with a historical and archaeological exploration of new realities behind the Prophet of Moses and the Children of Israel.
