Our spaces
Up to 70 guestsThe Arada Theatre overlooks the beautiful IMA billabong and can accommodate up to 40 guests. Featuring complete audio-visual set up, whiteboard and lectern, this space is perfect for presentations and lectures.
Rate. Then $120 per hour, plus a $100 cleaning fee.
Add-on. Video conferencing and live-streaming: $200 for four hours, then $50 per hour.
Up to 40 guestsOur board room overlooks our peaceful billabong and can accommodate up to 8 guests. It is equipped with a digital projector, HDMI cables and speakers, as well as a desk, chairs, sink and bench.

Up to 40 guestsThe function room can accommodate up to 50 guests and comes complete with an audio-visual display system, whiteboard, lectern, tables and chairs, with flexible room setup options. The dimensions of the room are just above 10m x 9m, excluding the entrance. The projection area is 3.3m (width) x 1.8m (height).

Up to 40 guestsOur studio space is fully equipped with equipment for podcasting, audio and video recording. It includes 2 microphones, 2 sets of headphones, a computer, and a podcast production console. A short orientation on using the equipment can be provided upon request.

Up to 40 guestsOur two workshop rooms can accommodate up to 15 people and are perfect for meetings, craft workshops, or silent reflection sessions. Workshop rooms come equipped with a sink and storage area for materials. Workshop room A (downstairs) features an audiovisual system.

Merri Blends Cafe @ the IMA is the exclusive caterer for every venue hire booking.

A few things to plan for before you book.
Prices are for room and audio-visual use only. Video conferencing and live-streaming incur an additional fee.
All catering is from our on-site cafe. No outside food or catering is permitted.
If you would like your guests to visit the galleries, a reduced fee of $10 per person applies. Tour guides can be organised for groups of 25 or more.
For security, the front and rear doors stay locked at all times. The hirer is responsible for staffing both doors to let guests in and direct them to the venue.
Printing is available at $0.50 per sheet.
Alcohol cannot be consumed on site.
