The Islamic Museum of Australia's Future Leaders Program invites young Muslims in Years 9-12 to participate in the 10 week program starting on Friday 1 August 2025 from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. This program aims to empower youth through skill development, recreational activities, and community building.
George Green is an African American youth worker and children’s book author with a background in youth justice, case management, and student wellbeing. He has supported young people across the school system, youth courts, and community programs focused on breaking cycles, building trust, and helping them take control of their future.
He’s also the founder of Little Global People, a creative platform that produces children’s books, educational games, and puzzles that centre culture, identity, and representation so every child feels seen, valued, and inspired.
Jacquie is a passionate educator with nearly a decade of experience teaching in both Primary and Secondary classrooms. Now at the Islamic Museum of Australia, she designs and delivers engaging education programs for museum visitors and students across the country.
With a deep commitment to supporting learners of all ages, she is dedicated to helping young people thrive and succeed. Jacquie’s blend of classroom expertise and museum education brings creativity and inspiration to every program she leads.
$100 deposit required, 50% returned upon 80 per cent completion of the program. This project is funded by the Australian Government’s Social Cohesion Measures Grant to support the Australian Palestinian, Muslim and other communities affected by the Hamas - Israel conflict. The grant supports an integrated and cohesive multicultural Australia.
