Join us in an Islamic ceramic tile workshop inspired by the beautiful tessellations found in mosques around the world! Learn to form air-dry clay into tiles and imprint geometric patterns found in Islamic art and architecture. 

Participants will be provided with pencils and paper to create their designs or use templates provided. From the beautiful floral-inspired Persian art to the geometric art of Morocco, participants can choose their own unique tile style.

In its ongoing commitment to combatting Islamophobia, the Islamic Museum of Australia champions an understanding and appreciation for Islamic art and culture. The Art of Islamic Tessellation workshops are supported by the Victorian Government.
