Professional Learning

  • Professional Learning IMA offers a number of professional learning sessions for educators throughout the school year
  • These sessions address the general capability of Intercultural understanding as well as different learning areas, namely English, Humanities and Social Sciences, and The Arts
  • The professional development courses connect prominent experts with participants, offer networking opportunities and include interactive tours
  • IMA can also deliver tailored professional learning sessions for education, community and business groups
Work Experience

Work Experience

Our work experience program for Year 10s is designed to provide students with an opportunity to work in a professional environment, learn valuable job skills and make connections and develop networks.

Student tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Front desk/ reception
  • Administrative support
  • Assisting with Art Workshop
  • Participating on Tours
  • Gift shop & Café Operations
  • Curatorial Research
  • Exhibition/ Event Support

Applicants are encouraged to submit their request 6 weeks prior to the proposed work experience date. All applications are subject to the availability of staff members.

Internship Programs

Internship Program Coming Soon

We are extremely excited to announce that the IMA is offering Internship Programs to second/third year university students in a variety of areas. At the IMA we are looking to assist to develop critical real-world knowledge and establish interns in the Arts Industry. We offer hands-on work experience shadowing top professionals in their field of expertise.

Some areas where an internship project may be available include: Education, Research, Public relations and marketing, Public programs and Exhibitions.
