Boundless Legacies presents the outcomes of the Boundless Plains Retreat, which brought together young creatives from across Australia to explore the layered histories of Muslim contributions to the nation. 

Through visits to Adelaide, Port Augusta, Mareeba and Townsville, participants encountered the enduring legacies of the Afghan Cameleers, Albanian farming communities and Malay pearl divers. These experiences prompted reflections on migration, resilience and identity. 

The artworks presented in this exhibition are the creative outcomes of that journey, weaving together history and lived experiences to imagine new ways of belonging in contemporary Australia.
