During this special event, you will:
  • Learn the Craft: Master the foundational techniques to create your own alool, a stunning, traditional woven wall hanging to take home.
  • Discover the History: Gain insight into the cultural significance of the craft, from its roots in Somalia to its modern, sustainable adaptation using indigenous Australian grasses.
  • Connect in Community: Enjoy an inspiring keynote speaker, share delicious food, and build meaningful connections with other women in a warm, welcoming space.

Whether you are an experienced creator or trying texturing arts for the first time, join us to celebrate the beautiful
traditions that connect women across generations.
