Explore the vibrant world of Batik and discover a textile tradition deeply woven into the cultures of Southeast Asia. In this creative workshop, participants will learn about the stories, symbols and patterns found in Batik before bringing their own pre-designed canvas to life with colour. With guidance throughout the session, participants will experiment with colour and pattern while learning about the traditional techniques behind this beautiful artform. A fun introduction to culture, creativity and textile art, with no previous experience needed. All materials are provided, and everyone will take home their own Batik artwork.
