Discover the art of Somali weaving in this creative workshop led by Muhubo. Participants will learn about traditional weaving techniques and explore how colour, texture and pattern can be brought together to create beautiful woven designs.
With Muhubo’s guidance, participants will have the chance to try their own hand at weaving, learning how to work with different materials and create their own unique patterns. Along the way, Muhubo will share insights into the tradition and its place in Somali culture and everyday life.
A fun opportunity to learn a new creative skill, experiment with colour and texture, and connect with a rich artistic tradition.
