Design and paint your own geometric artwork inspired by Islamic patterns. Use tape, colour, and symmetry to create a personalised canvas piece to take home.

In this hands-on Geometric Painting Workshop, participants will explore the beauty of pattern, symmetry, and design by creating their own geometric artwork on canvas, inspired by traditional Islamic art.

Using masking tape as a guide, participants will build structured shapes directly onto their canvas, forming clean lines and striking compositions. Once the design is set, they will experiment with colour, exploring how contrast, tone, and repetition can transform simple shapes into dynamic visual patterns.

To make each artwork personal and meaningful, participants will include the Arabic initial of their name within their design, adding a unique finishing touch to their piece.

Guided by facilitator Abier, this workshop offers a relaxed and creative environment where participants can learn about geometric design while enjoying a fun, hands-on art experience. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and creativity.

By the end of the session, each participant will take home a finished canvas artwork they have designed and painted themselves.
