Join us in an Islamic ceramic tile workshop inspired by the beautiful tessellations found in mosques around the world. Learn to form air-dry clay into tiles and imprint geometric patterns found in Islamic art and architecture. Participants will be provided with pencils and paper to create their own designs or they can use templates provided. From the beautiful floral inspired Persian art to the geometric art of Morocco, participants can choose their own unique tile style.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in exploring the intersection of art, history, and culture. No prior experience is needed, just bring your creativity and a passion for learning something new! All materials are provided, and you'll leave with a unique tile to take home, a beautiful reminder of your artistic journey.
