Clay Trinket Dish

Event Status : Open

Make your own trinket dish inspired by Islamic symbols.

Open for ages : 9+

Join us for a clay trinket workshop, make your own trinket dish inspired by islamic symbols and personalise it as you wish. It could be used as a jewelry holder or simply for decoration, the options are endless. Explore the tactile feel of clay work, learning to shape, texture, and personalise your creations. With no prior experience required, participants can enjoy the process of making unique clay trinkets. The workshop not only teaches the art of clay crafting but also fosters a sense of community and relaxation among attendees. Crafting with air dry clay is a therapeutic activity that combines the joy of making with the satisfaction of creating something beautiful and functional.

In its ongoing commitment to combatting Islamophobia, the Islamic Museum of Australia champions an understanding and appreciation for Islamic art and culture. The Autumn School Holiday workshops are supported by the Victorian Government.
